Privacy policy
Effective 3 October 2026. Apex Daily is made by CTXA LLC ("we"). This policy covers the Apex Daily app for iPhone and this website.
The short version. Apex Daily stores only what it needs to run the daily leaderboard: an account ID, the driver name, flag and number you choose, and your best lap each day. No ads, no tracking, no analytics, and nothing is sold. You can delete all of it from Settings in the app.
Your account
The game never asks you to sign up. When it goes online it gives you an account on our server in one of two ways:
- Signed in to Game Center: Apple confirms who you are and we store your Game Center player ID (an identifier Apple issues for our games only) linked to your account. The account also gets a sign-in address made from a scrambled copy of that ID, ending in
@gc.apexdaily.app. It is never used to send mail. We never see your Apple ID, your email or your Game Center friends. - Not signed in to Game Center: you get an anonymous account that exists only on that phone.
What we store
- Your driver profile: the DRIVER name you type (3 to 16 letters, numbers or underscores), the flag you pick (a country code you choose; we don't read your location), your car number, and when the name was created and last changed.
- Your best lap each day: the time, the day's track, and the lap's input log, which is the list of when you steered left or right. The log lets us check a lap was really driven, and lets other players race it as a ghost. We also store the app, track and physics version and when it was posted. Only your best lap per day is kept; slower ones are not stored.
- Two lap counts: how many laps you've started and finished in total, sent at most once a day for the stats on your leaderboard card.
What other players see
The leaderboard is public to everyone playing Apex Daily. Other players can see your driver name, flag, car number, lap times and positions, your lap counts, best finish and podiums, and can race your best lap of the day as a ghost. Pick a driver name you're happy for strangers to see; it doesn't need to be your real name.
What stays on your phone
Your settings, personal bests, lap counts, car colours and driver details are kept on your iPhone, along with your sign-in session (in the iOS Keychain). They don't leave the phone except as described above.
What we don't collect
No email address, real name, phone number, location, contacts, photos, advertising identifier or browsing data. There are no ads, no analytics or crash-reporting tools, and no tracking across other apps or websites. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
Who handles the data
- Supabase hosts our server and database in the United States (AWS, Ohio). Like any web server, it automatically keeps short-lived technical logs of requests, which include IP addresses, for security. We don't use them for anything else.
- Apple runs Game Center. Apple's own privacy policy covers what Apple does with your Game Center account.
- Cloudflare serves this website and forwards mail sent to our support address.
We don't share your data with anyone else and we don't sell it.
Why we use it
To run the feature you're using: give your times a name that stays yours, rank them on the daily leaderboard, check laps are genuine, and let players race each other's ghosts. Where privacy law asks for a legal basis, it is providing the game you asked for, and our legitimate interest in keeping the leaderboard fair.
How long we keep it
As long as your online profile exists. Old days stay on the leaderboard history until you delete your profile.
Deleting your data
In the app, go to Settings → DELETE ONLINE PROFILE. This deletes your account, driver profile, laps, lap counts and Game Center link from our server immediately, and frees your name for others. The data on your phone goes when you delete the app.
You can also email support@apexdaily.app with your driver name to ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion. If your account is anonymous and you've deleted the app, we may not be able to tell which account was yours.
Children
Apex Daily is rated 13+ and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has set up an online profile, use DELETE ONLINE PROFILE in the app or email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If what the app stores changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top before the app update that changes it ships.
